Its current use spans from early in the drug-discovery process to analyzing active clinical trial data. If you are looking to join a team of talented software engineers and to delivering amazing, high impact features our customers use to improve lives everywhere, this is a great opportunity.You Will:• Create highly performant and scalable services primarily in Scala FP• Work on a medium to large data warehouse for scientific data, that’s also AI/ML ready• Work on a medium to large data transformation engine capable of processing petabytes of data to the warehouse• Work with AWS services and cloud technologies• Collaborate with fellow team members on priorities, technical specifications, design reviews, code reviews, implementation, testing and troubleshootingBasicQualifications:• 5+ years of Software Development experience• 2+ years Experience with Scala versions 2 or 3, and related libraries such as Zio• 2+ years Experience developing Data Warehouses using databases such as bolthires Lake and PostgresPreferredQualifications:• Bachelors Degree is preferred• Skilled with database performance in RDS Postgres, Deltalake or other relational databases• Skilled with Elasticsearch queries and performance• Experience with data transformation in Spark Scala or Dask python• Experience with cloud application performance at one of the top 3 providers• Architecting and performance analysis skills• Strongly driven – ability to clarify product requirements into technical specifications, and deliver solid code in a highly distributed and fast-moving environment• Excellent communication skills• Strong problem-solving skills• Ability to mentor other engineers and testersWhat do we offer?• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Options• Life and Disability Insurance• Paid Time-Off• Parental Benefits• Compassionate Care Leave• 401k with Company Match• Employee Stock Purchase PlanLearn more about Revvity’s benefits by visiting our Bswift page.
