Job DescriptionPosition SummaryRausch in partnership with a leading REIT, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT AuditSenior with proven experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), IT General Controls (ITGC), and YARDI systems. This role is integral to our internal audit function, focusing on evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of IT controls, systems, and processes across our REIT portfolio.Qualifications & Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or related field; Master’s preferred. • Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, CRMA, or CPA highly desirable. • Minimum 3–5 years of IT audit experience, with at least 2 years in a REIT environment. • Strong understanding of YARDI Voyager or Breeze, including modules for property management, leasing, and financials. • Deep knowledge of ITGC frameworks (COBIT, COSO, NIST). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present findings to executive leadership.• Experience with cloud environments, ERP systems, and data analytics tools. Job Responsibilities• Lead and execute risk-based IT audits across REIT operations, including infrastructure, applications, and data governance. • Perform ITGC testing in accordance with SOX, SSAE 18, and other regulatory frameworks. • Assess and validate YARDI system configurations, data integrity, and access controls. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify control gaps and recommend remediation strategies. • Document audit findings and prepare detailed reports for senior management and the Audit Committee.• Support operational audits by integrating IT risk perspectives into broader business reviews. • Conduct third-party vendor assessments, focusing on cybersecurity, data privacy, and business continuity. • Utilize tools such as AuditBoard, Tableau, SQL, and ACL for data analytics and audit automation. • Stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory changes impacting REITs and IT audit practices.
