[Remote] Senior Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller – SaaS – Remote

Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Advice Personnel is a recruiting firm seeking aSenior Accounting Manager to work remotely for a B2B and B2C SaaS platform. The role involves overseeing accounting operations, treasury, and reporting while managing a team and ensuring accurate financial practices. Responsibilities• Provide direction and guidance to the Accounting team as they perform their duties to ensure timely, accurate and consistent delivery• Ownership of all bank account activity, ensuring all accounts are funded and money is allocated correctly, and provide a final sign-off on payroll• Conduct corporate accounting responsibilities surrounding reporting, fixed assets, lender reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting projects• Assist with the quarterly and yearly financial statements and financial controls audits• Prepare balance sheet and income statement variance analysis for management and assist with all financial reporting needs• Monitor and analyze department work to improve and develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy• Assist in the management of auditor engagements for completion of annual audit reports• Participate in various business processes and technology integration initiativesSkills• 7+ years’ experience in a mix of public and private accounting, preferably within a tech/SaaS revenue model• Proficiency in application of US GAAP• Ability to strategically approach challenges in a creative manner while prioritizing multiple deadlines and responsibilities• Strong interpersonal skills with experience working cross-departmentally with multiple areas of a large organization• CPA (or international equivalent)• NetSuite experience a strong plusCompany Overview• Advice is a boutique recruiting firm specializing in placing professionals in accounting and tax, finance, real estate operations, human resources, office support and go-to-market.It was founded in 1984, and is headquartered in New York, New York, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
