Location: Virginia / RemoteThis position will require individuals to live within driving distance of the DC Metro area to report to HQ in Arlington, VA one day per week and may be adjusted as needed at the supervisor's discretion. We are seeking a Data Solutions Architect to of qualified, diverse individuals supporting a Federal Government customer in Rosslyn, VA. The candidate must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance US Citizen and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years.Must have resided in the US for the last 5 yearsPosition DescriptionFunctions as the primary technical architect for data warehousing projects to solve business intelligence challengesPossesses deep technical expertise in database design, ETL (OWB/ODI), reporting, and analyticsPrevious consulting experience utilizing an agile delivery methodologyPosition RequirementsSolutions architect must have expertise as both a solutions architect and AI architect. 3+ years experience with Azure ETL processing3+ years experience utilizing data warehousing methodologies and processesStrong conceptual, analytical, and decision-making skillsKnowledge and Experience of dimensional modelingStrong knowledge of Azure DatabricksProficiency in creating PL/SQL packagesFull SDLC and Data Modeling experienceAbility to create both logical and physical data modelsAbility to tune databases for maximum performanceExperience in Data Preparation: Data Profiling, Data Cleansing, and Data AuditingAbility to work with Business Analysts to create functional specifications and dataManages QA functionsDevelops unit, system, and integration test plans and manages executionAbility to write technical and end-user system documentationExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperience transforming logical business requirements into appropriate schemas and modelsAbility to analyze and evaluate moderate to highly complex information systems by being able to interpret such devices as Entity Relation Diagrams, data dictionaries, record layouts, and logic flow diagrams Apply tot his job
