The role involves transforming legacy enterprise applications into modern, cloud-ready, microservices-based systems while leveraging GenAI accelerators for faster development and automation. Key Responsibilities:Modernize legacy apps built on JRE 1.7 and WebLogic 6.x to run on Red Hat 9/10Migrate older codebases to JDK 17/21 and updated WebLogic or alternative platformsBreak down monolithic applications into microservices and containerized servicesMove codebase to Git and manage CI/CD pipelines with JFrog-based artifact managementRewrite legacy modules using Java or.NET Core as neededUse AWS CLI for deployments, automation, and cloud-native modernizationWork on GenAI accelerators for code generation, testing, refactoring, and modernizationTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve compilation/transformation issuesParticipate in architecture discussions and modernization strategy planningRequired Skills:6+ years hands-on Java developmentStrong experience with JDK upgrades and platform modernizationPractical experience breaking monoliths into microservicesProficiency with Git, CI/CD, JFrog, and AWS CLIExperience rewriting or migrating legacy enterprise appsStrong debugging and code transformation troubleshooting abilitiesFamiliarity with GenAI tools for automation and code generationNice to Have:.NET Core rewrite experienceRed Hat Enterprise Linux optimization experienceTelecom project exposureExperience building or using GenAI-based modernization accelerators Apply tot his job
