Remote Contract Project Manager - PMP Certified - State NC

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager with PMP certification for a one-year contract opportunity. This remote position requires availability during core business hours from 8 AM to 5 PM EST, with a mandatory one-hour lunch break. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing projects for the HIEA in collaboration with SAS project managers and subcontracted J2 developers. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the project management lifecycle to ensure that deliverables align with established schedules, budgets, and scope.• Schedule and facilitate the review and approval of critical project artifacts, including abstracts, statements of work, project plans, risk logs, and design documentation. • Monitor the timely delivery and updates of these artifacts in accordance with contractual obligations. • Collaborate with SAS project managers to create high-level project tracking dashboards and status reports. • Participate in operational meetings, ensuring task completion is on schedule. • Lead and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, providing effective communication and collaboration.• Support the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), including KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives. • Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, MS Planner, and Asana to track progress and ensure project goals are met. • Maintain alignment with the agency's strategic business vision, mission, and priorities. Required Skills • Proven project management expertise with a focus on lifecycle management and collaboration. • Proficiency in project management applications including MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, MS Planner, and Asana.• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills. • Thorough understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and project documentation. • Strong organizational and task management capabilities. Qualifications • PMP Certification is mandatory. • Demonstrated experience in project management, particularly in managing project lifecycles and coordinating with diverse teams. • A relevant degree in a related field is preferred.
