[Remote] Auditor 4, Southwest Region
Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Pennsylvania Auditor General is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as an Auditor 4. This position involves planning and supervising audits, ensuring compliance with established standards, and providing training to junior auditors. Responsibilities• Planning, directing, and supervising auditors in the performance of compliance audits and Limited Procedures Engagements (LPEs) in accordance with Department and Bureau policies, and procedures and Government Auditing Standards• Researching and applying laws, regulations, and auditing standards applicable to audits• Administering the policies and procedures of the DAG• Conducting special projects• Preparing reports• Providing onsite job training of subordinates, including computer and audit procedure training• Reviewing the work of subordinates• Traveling to audit sites or training sessions within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania• Performing other related duties as requiredSkills• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business, computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math, or a closely related field AND one year experience as an Auditor 3, Liquor Store Examiner 3, or a Management Trainee• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business, computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math, or a closely related field AND four years of accounting/auditing experience, including one year of supervisory accounting or auditing experience• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, business, computer science, data analytics, finance, economics, information technology, math, or a closely related field• You must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license• You must be able to perform essential job functions• One or more of the following certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA)• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)• Certified Government AuditProfessional (CGAP)• Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)Benefits• Student loan forgiveness• Excellent health, savings, and retirement benefitsCompany Overview• We hold state government accountable for how it spends its citizens' tax dollars.It was founded in undefined, and is headquartered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, US, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
