We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This role involves collaborating closely with development teams to create efficient automation solutions, write and execute test scripts, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve testing processes.The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in programming, a detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for staying current with automation tools and best practices. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex projects in a hybrid environment, contributing to software quality and delivery excellence. Accountabilities• Design, develop, and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks and test suites to cover a broad range of testing scenarios. • Write well-structured automated tests using Java or Python, following established design patterns.• Perform regression testing and ensure stability and reliability of new software releases. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automation scripts and test environments. • Collaborate with QA and development teams to integrate automated tests into development workflows. • Identify reusable tests and contribute to automation best practices. • Provide guidance and training to team members on test automation techniques. • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices to improve automation efficiency.• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, QA best practices, and Agile/Scrum frameworks. • Experience writing automated tests with Java, Selenium, or IntelliJ. • Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms, such as BrowserStack, for cross-browser and multi-device testing. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Innovative and proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges.• Prior experience in QA automation within hybrid or remote working models is an advantage. • Hourly rate: $30–$40/hour, depending on experience and location. • Hybrid work model: balance between office presence and remote work flexibility. • Paid training, including orientation, security, and software tools. • Exposure to diverse projects and collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Opportunities for professional growth and development in automation and QA practices. • Supportive work environment fostering innovation, learning, and teamwork.Jobgether is a Talent Matching Platform that partners with companies worldwide to efficiently connect top talent with the right opportunities through AI-driven job matching.
