Responsibilities• Analyzes cross-technology/cross-platform issues. Evaluates technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions. • Discovers, implements, and manages projects that require systems integration, small teams and/or multiple technical platforms. • Analyzes vendor proposals and coordinates vendors' services. • Acts as a resource and leads designated project team members.• Applies expertise in project management methodologies, tools and techniques. Works independently within the technical area, applying in-depth knowledge of multiple technologies, as appropriate. • Analyzes cross-technology and cross platform issues. Evaluates the technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions. Understands architectural issues, and factors them into decisions and recommendations. • Negotiates and commits to deliverables with customers. Within the context of the project, has complete authority to select tools and methodologies, establish timelines and milestones, make work assignments, and approve work output.Negotiates terms with vendors and manages their work. • Tracks and maintains an accurate budget. • Obtains approvals on any changes to scope, dates and budget. Skills• Assist customers with defining their current and future project needs. Evaluates technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions. Gives recommendations on best practices and lessons learned. • Ability to document project scope. Ability to gather and document customer needs, dependencies, requirements for telephony, networking, end user devices, compare needs to company standards, work collaboratively will applications project manager to incorporate all aspects of the project.• Budget Oversight and Management - skilled in preparing rough order of magnitudes, budgets and expense tracking. Understands capital vs operating rules. • Manages Project Priorities. • Performs Issue and Risk Management. Skilled in independently assessing the issues/risks and owning the engagement of the appropriate stakeholders. Provide all details to allow the stakeholders to make recommendations/decisions. • Promotes Good Working Relationships. • Communicates Project Status upward and to the Customer.Status updates are clear, concise, and effective communication to meet the unique needs of different audiences. • Creates a mutual understanding, harmony, and action by being an attentive listener and encouraging open expression of diverse ideas and opinions. • Enforces effective Change Control (technical and project)• Strong Communication Skills, both written and verbal. Ability to deliver the message based on the audience. • Team building. Ability to work collaboratively with the entire project team and manage conflict.• Familiarity with ServiceNow• Skilled with Project Management softwareRequirementsEducation:• High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
