Principal Technical Program Manager, API Development
Job Description:• Spearhead organization-wide API strategy and interoperability roadmap aligned with business and regulatory requirements• Define and implement technical standards for API usability, security, scalability, and performance• Drive data-driven decision making and build business cases to prioritize initiatives• Establish API governance frameworks and best practices• Drive cross-functional development and product launches from concept to delivery in an Agile environment• Manage API roadmaps, backlog prioritization, release strategies, and post-release monitoring• Develop and track KPIs for API adoption, performance, and business impact• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including PRDs, user scenarios, sequence diagrams, and workflow diagrams• Collaborate with Development, Quality, User Research, compliance, and Customer Success teams and influence without authority• Coordinate development across distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures• Utilize SQL and work with Snowflake and Power BI for program metrics and validation• Coordinate bolthires/CD, AWS infrastructure, release planning, testing, deployment, and monitoring• Mentor and develop junior program managers and build trusted partnerships with engineering leaders• Advocate for API-first thinking and interoperability standards across the organizationRequirements:• Bachelor's Degree• 10+ years of demonstrated success in technical program management, with 2-3 years at the expert level• Strong technical background with demonstrated expertise in API development and management• Experience in an Agile environment with proven ability to drive the Software Development Lifecycle• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Experience creating technical documentation, including sequence/workflow diagrams• Strong bias for action with a track record of initiative and innovation• Proven ability to manage complex technical programs with multiple stakeholders• Preferred: Healthcare technology experience, particularly with EHR systems• Preferred: Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7)• Preferred: Experience with regulatory compliance in healthcare (ONC, HIPAA)• Preferred: Familiarity with AWS and cloud architecture• Preferred: Experience with data analytics tools (Snowflake, Power BI)• Preferred: History of successful mentorship and team development• Work authorization: Applicants for North American based positions must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada; Visa Sponsorship is not offeredBenefits:• Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, including holidays, vacation, medical, dental, and vision insurance• Company paid life insurance• Retirement savings• Flexible work arrangements and remote work options• Professional development and career development opportunities• Access to culture, benefits, and early talent programs Apply tot his job
