Production Scheduler - Manufacturing

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:• Work closely and collaboratively with the Master Scheduler to balance workloads across multiple groups and manufacturing plants• Creation of daily cast books and flow of work to the plants• Preparation of projects for casts books, and entry in spreadsheets/ERP• Communicate with engineering/detailing to highlight material list and ticket needs• Communicate scheduling requirements to supporting teams (ie wood, foam, fab. shop)• Update and maintain backlog summary reports and ERP dates• Expedite and confirm production requirements prior to production• Verify availability and readiness of fabrication materials and shop tickets• Interface with Master Scheduler and plants on scheduling upcoming production• Update and publish weekly production schedules• Make adjustments based on changing conditions within the production pipeline• Identify opportunities to improve the manufacturing or production process through more effective schedule management• Maintain a strong understanding of the production process and be able to generate and maintain effective daily and weekly schedules.• Input data to generate BOM documents• Attend scheduling meetingsBasicQualifications:• Associates degree or equivalent experience• Experience in ProductionOther RequiredQualifications:• Strong communication, organizational and decision-making skills• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks• Competent in computer applications, especially spreadsheets and databasesPreferredQualifications:• An understanding of precast products• Experience in reading blueprints, production, and erecting drawings• Training in construction and production scheduling• Familiar with scheduling programs and concepts• Familiarity with Fabcon process and proceduresPhysical Requirements:• Office: Move 25lbs (not for all jobs, reasonable accommodations will be made), work with a computer for extended periods of timeWork Environment:• Office: Quiet with some ambient noise, climate controlled, fluorescent lightingEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the KnowYour Rights notice from the Department of Labor.
