Come be a part of our journey! We’re looking for a Payroll Operations Analyst who can expertly manage the technical, regulatory, and human elements of global payroll in a high-growth environment. This role requires a technical expert in multi-country payroll, deep understanding of the complexities of equity and stock option taxation, and has the compliance mindset needed to manage tax laws and filings meticulously. Responsibilities include: Accurately and efficiently process payroll for all legal entities, which will require understanding, interpreting and applying tax laws and government regulations to payroll and benefit deductions, incentive compensation and expense reimbursements in partnership with outsourced payroll providers; Review payroll transactions for completeness and reasonability; Delivering an excellent service reflecting the dual nature of payroll: technically accurate on the finance side, with a good communication and helpful manner on the people side A demonstrated understanding that payroll is a topic which impacts people and needs to be thought through extremely carefully Preparing appropriate messaging in times of change or project management Accurately and efficiently enter variable and one-time pay adjustments for all pay groups; Research and investigate payroll discrepancies; Manage and maintain timely compliance for payroll, legal and tax reporting filings; Support and assist with payroll-related audit procedures, ensuring payroll processes are in line with controls; Respond to information requests and assist in the implementation of key initiatives impacting payroll, including acquisitions of new assets/employees; Stay abreast and aware of new laws and regulations regarding payroll related issues; Demonstrate an understanding of the payroll impacts of employee stock options; Assist in identifying recurring issues, problematic trends, and in recommending changes in basic procedures.What you bring: Ability to execute and skillfully juggle multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines Strong experience of administering payroll in multiple countries Experience of handling the payroll technicalities around stock options, exercise of options, sale of stock, in multiple countries Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environment Flexible and adaptable: willing and able to change priorities to meet team goals; Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and sound judgment; Motivated problem solver with the ability to sort through issues to create and recommend improvements; Strong interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships at all levels in the organization; Ability to deal sensitively with confidential information; Strong oral and written communication skills; Experience working in a high growth company; Expert use of Gsuite applications required and experience working with BambooHR (HRIS) and Netsuite is desirable.Ideally, you have obtained a technical payroll management qualificationThe typical starting salary for this role in the US is$87,500—$135,000 USDCompensation For roles based in the United States, the typical starting salary range for this position is listed above. In certain locations, such as Los Angeles, CA, the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, the Seattle, WA, Area, and the New York City Metro Area, a premium market range may apply, as listed. These salary ranges reflect what we reasonably and in good faith believe to be the minimum and maximum pay for this role at the time of posting.The actual compensation may be higher or lower than the amounts listed, and the ranges may be subject to future adjustments.
