OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)Advanced Planning and Procurement Functional Consultant to. This role involves implementing, configuring, and optimizing procurement and supply chain modules within Oracle EBS to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in ERP systems, procurement management, and contract negotiation, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain logistics. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives, improve procurement workflows, and support organizational growth through innovative solutions.Duties• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle EBSAdvanced Planning and Procurement modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze procurement processes, identify gaps, and develop effective solutions utilizing ERP systems. • Manage procurement lifecycle activities including sourcing, purchasing, contract management, and supplier management to optimize supply chain operations. • Conduct root cause analysis for procurement issues and implement corrective actions to improve process efficiency.• Support contract negotiation efforts by providing expertise on federal acquisition regulations, pricing strategies, and category management. • Facilitate supply chain planning activities such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning), production planning, and logistics coordination. • Assist in developing category strategies for manufacturing procurement and materials management to maximize value and reduce costs. • Provide training and ongoing support for end-users on Oracle EBS functionalities related to procurement and supply chain modules.• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, workflows, and process improvements. Qualifications• Proven experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), particularly inAdvanced Planning and Procurement modules. • Strong background in SAP or other ERP systems is a plus. • Extensive knowledge of procurement management, sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and contract management. • Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management—including logistics, materials management, production planning, and supplier relationship management.• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external suppliers. • Experience in manufacturing environments or production planning is preferred. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field; relevant certifications are advantageous.
