SUMMARY:This position is responsible for ensuring that products appear in the right store, or on a website, at the appropriate time in the most appealing display.Professionally manages relationships and ensures accurate and timely communication between customer, sales, marketing and product development. Provides support to Brand Team with presentations, samples, line management and administrative functions. Serves as the lead on their assigned business, operates with discretion, and shows independent judgment, making decisions on approval of products and samples for presentation to the sales department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Manage and coordinate sample life cycle from conception to production.• Directs the maintenance and updating of showroom display walls seasonally. • Supports Managers to maintain and update seasonal line plans, calendars for each brand/channel. • Researches and coordinates special projects as required to meet brand initiatives. • Serves as a liaison between Brand Management, sales, product development and merchandising teams to coordinate inputs, and investigates and resolves merchandise challenges. • Ensures merchandising accuracy in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for assigned areas.• Develops an understanding of technical manufacturing procedures as well as customer needs in order to facilitate the execution of a profitable product. • Executes style/SKU level analysis to optimize productivity and margin. • Participates in the development of divisional policies and operating practices. • Performs other tasks as assigned by leadership. • Other duties may be assigned. • Adhere to company policies, including attendance and punctuality• Communicate with co-workers, management and others in a courteous and professional manner.• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions including but not limited to confidentiality requirements. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY• Understanding and proficiency in line development profitability management. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Knowledge of CAD/Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop a plus. • Knowledge of cost tracking and billing procedures. • Self-starter with proven experience in delivering results to an organization.• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work with all levels of the organization. • Must be able to work unsupervised and thrive in a stressful environment. • Knowledge and understanding of fashion, design, etc. PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
