As a Claims Processor/ROI Medical Records Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of medical records. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, verifying information, and preparing correspondence with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Perform document preparation tasks, including sorting, filing, and boxing records Communicate effectively with insurance agents, beneficiaries, attorneys, patients, and hospital staff Prepare claim forms and related documentation for audits and/or mail out Review claim submissions and verify information to ensure accuracy Record and maintain policies and claims information in database systems Comply with federal, state, and company regulation policies Perform clerical tasks as required, including scanning hard copy files to electronic images Ensure quality images and follow production procedures Complete internal documentation and tracking tasks Requirements andQualifications: To succeed in this role, you'll need: Familiarity with bolthires Office and computer knowledge Proficiency in medical terminology Excellent reading, writing, and communication skills in English Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management Strong organizational and clerical skills, with attention to detail Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while maintaining quality 1+ year of medical data entry experience 1+ year of medical front desk experience (preferred) What We Offer: At Iron Mountain, we're committed to supporting your overall well-being and career growth.Our total rewards package includes: Competitive wage scale with annual merit increases ($17 per hour, paid biweekly) Medical, dental, and vision benefits beginning on the first day of employment Paid vacation, holidays, sick, and personal time Tuition reimbursement Employee Stock Purchase Program 401K retirement planCareer Growth and LearningBenefits: As a valued member of our team, you'll have opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career.
