MEDIA BUYER - PAID SOCIAL SPECIALIST (100% remote)1099 Contract, 40 hrs a week$24–$32/hrRequired: +3 years of experienceJob OverviewWe're seeking a detail-oriented Media Buyer to manage paid social media campaigns for our growing portfolio of painting contractor clients across North America. This role combines technical account setup, campaign management, and media buying strategy to drive qualified leads through Facebook and Instagram advertising. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient (comfortable with pixels, tracking, and platform integrations) and strategically minded (understands audience targeting, ad creative testing, and performance optimization).Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Setup & Account Management (40%)• Set up and configure Facebook Business Manager accounts for new clients• Install and verify Facebook Pixel tracking on client websites• Connect Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts to Ad Accounts• Configure conversion tracking, custom audiences, and event parameters• Troubleshoot technical issues with tracking, pixel fires, and attribution• Set up Conversions API (CAPI) integration when needed• Audit existing accounts for proper setup and tracking accuracy• Manage access permissions and user roles across multiple ad accountsCampaign Management & Media Buying (50%)• Launch, monitor, and optimize Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns• Implement targeting strategies based on geographic, demographic, and behavioral data• Manage campaign budgets ranging from $2,000 - $10,000 per month per client• Test ad creative variations (copy, images, videos, hooks, CTAs)• Analyze performance metrics (CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR, conversion rates)• Scale winning campaigns while maintaining cost efficiency• Implement retargeting and lookalike audience strategies• A/B test landing pages, offers, and audience segments• Provide weekly performance reports and optimization recommendationsCollaboration & Communication (10%)• Work closely with creative team to provide data-driven feedback on ad performance• Communicate campaign results and strategic recommendations to clients• Participate in client strategy calls and campaign planning sessions• Document processes, learnings, and best practices for the teamRequired QualificationsExperience• 1-3 years of hands-on experience managing Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns• Proven track record of successfully setting up Facebook Business Manager, Ad Accounts, and Pixels• Experience managing ad budgets of at least $50K+ annually across multiple accounts• Portfolio or case studies demonstrating campaign performance improvementsTechnical Skills• Deep understanding of Facebook Ads Manager and Business Manager• Proficiency with Facebook Pixel installation and troubleshooting• Experience with Google Tag Manager (preferred but not required)• Comfortable working with tracking URLs, UTM parameters, and conversion events• Basic understanding of HTML/website structure for pixel implementation• Familiarity with CRM integrations and lead tracking systemsStrategic Skills• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and make optimization decisions• Understanding of audience segmentation, targeting, and funnel strategy• Knowledge of creative testing methodologies and statistical significance• Ability to balance multiple campaigns and prioritize based on performanceSoft Skills• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Self-motivated with ability to work independently• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to troubleshoot technical issues• Comfortable managing multiple clients and deadlines simultaneouslyPreferred Qualifications• Experience in home services, trades, or contractor marketing• Familiarity with lead generation campaigns (vs.e-commerce)• Knowledge of Google Ads and other paid media platforms• Experience with Zapier or other automation tools• Understanding of landing page optimization and conversion rate optimization (CRO)• Facebook Blueprint certificationWhat Success Looks Like30 Days:• Independently set up new client ad accounts with proper tracking• Launch first campaigns with appropriate targeting and budget allocation• Demonstrate understanding of our client avatar framework and messaging strategy60 Days:• Manage 3-5 client accounts with consistent performance improvement• Identify and scale winning campaigns while pausing underperformers• Troubleshoot and resolve technical tracking issues independently90 Days:• Optimize campaigns to achieve target CPL benchmarks for each client• Provide strategic recommendations based on performance data• Take ownership of client communication and reportingJob Type: ContractPay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:• Employee discount• Paid time off• Professional development assistance• Work from homeWork Location:Remote Apply tot his job
