Law & Policy Analyst Intern
CPower seeks a Law & Policy Analyst Intern to support regulatory compliance and process improvement in a hybrid role based in Baltimore or New York City. Your RoleHere’s what you will be doing:• Conduct independent research on industry best practices for compliance and process management. • Assist with internal audits of key processes to support efficiency and compliance. • Help write, review, and edit policies and standard operating procedures across the company. • Support process improvement initiatives by reviewing existing documentation, facilitating stakeholder consultations, and drafting future-state process documents.• Maintain high-quality record keeping for compliance and process management tasks. • Support the development of internal training and learning and development opportunities related to compliance and process management. • Perform other tasks as assigned. About YouThe company is looking for:• Rising Junior, Rising Senior, or Graduate Student pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Pre-Law, or a related field. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Interest in energy, compliance, and/or process management.• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, R, Stata, or Python is an asset. • Ability to independently manage tasks and deadlines effectively. • Legal eligibility to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements. Compensation & Benefits• Hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00, varying by location, skills, and experience. • Potential additional compensation through bonuses or commissions for some positions.
