What You'll DoLead weekly Zoom sessions with students (and count them toward your contact goals!)Build strong relationships with students & familiesSupport students’ learning journeys with Exact Path, Edmentum & moreGrade work and track student progress across platformsHost fun monthly virtual lunches and field tripsCollaborate with a passionate team of remote educators✅ What You NeedValid Michigan teaching certificate (or ability to obtain within 2 months of hire)Virtual teaching experience and confidence with Zoom, Exact Path, and EdmentumStrong organization and communication chopsA passion for creating joy in learning (even from a distance)What Success Looks Like90%+ contact rate maintained weeklyAccurate, timely documentation in the Genius systemStudents complete 90%+ of assigned work monthlyParticipation in team meetings, PD, and collaboration initiativesStrong communication with parents/guardiansA Day in the Life8:30 AM – Morning check-ins with students via Zoom9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Virtual learning lab12:00 PM – Contact attempts and student goal setting1:30 PM – Collaboration time2:30 PM – Documenting notes and prepping for tomorrowRemote Work Setup We’ll provide a laptop and monitor.You’ll need a reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
