The LSD Open Platform Engineer will thrive on designing and building amazing Kubernetes-based platforms. He/she will be responsible for the engineering, delivery and operationalization of LSD Managed Kubernetes environments (MKS) within customer environments (cloud, on-premise and hybrid).
The Platform Engineer will serve as an escalation path for LSD Open Support teams and use mature DevSecOps practices to automate all aspects of MKS delivery and maintenance to drive efficiency and scale. In addition to the above, the Platform Engineer will:
Design and build technical solutions (Kubernetes, Ansible, etc.)
Participate, and sometimes provide, support services to the LSD Open customers
Ensure technical alignment with technical delivery in the Middle East and the broader LSD Open technical approach.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the way that technical solutions are delivered within LSD Open Middle East
Support Sales activity to serve as a mechanism to ensure alignment between the technical solution and commercial arrangement.
This is a role that will require travel, and project work, within the Middle East and into other parts of the world.
Requirements
COMPETENCIES:
● Kubernetes (4+ years of experience), across any of the following:

● Preference for experience with any of the following technologies
○ Ansible (Red Hat Automation Platform)
○ Other automation technologies (Puppet, Chef, Salt)

● Proven experience in Linux system administration
