Transcend Softech LLC is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Cost Center Accounting Consultant with strong expertise in FASB requirements and US GAAP reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and configuring SAP CCA solutions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and support SAP S/4HANA Cost Center Accounting (CCA) solutions
- Analyze and implement business requirements related to FASB compliance and US GAAP reporting
- Configure Cost Centers, Cost Elements, Internal Orders, Statistical Key Figures, Activity Types, and Allocation Cycles
- Support period-end closing activities, including cost allocations, assessments, distributions, and reconciliations
- Collaborate with Finance and Controlling teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and financial compliance
- Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP best practices for costing and management reporting
- Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for custom developments
- Support system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and production support
- Prepare project documentation, configuration documents, and process flows
Skills
- 8+ years of SAP Controlling (CO) experience with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Solid understanding of FASB accounting standards and US GAAP reporting requirements
- Hands-on experience with cost planning, cost allocations, overhead management, and profitability reporting
- Experience with SAP CO integration with FI, MM, PP, and other SAP modules
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience participating in at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration project
