They are seeking a full-time Sales Manager to own the sales cycle and drive new business directly into these teams, especially during an exciting platform launch.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle for new business, from first outreach through discovery, demo coordination, proposal, and close
- Sell into regulatory affairs, global labeling, and medical affairs leaders at pharmaceutical and biotech companies
- Build and run your own pipeline with real outbound, not just inbound leads
- Keep HubSpot current and accurate so the pipeline is always a true picture of where things stand
- Partner with marketing and client success to move opportunities forward and surface expansion inside existing accounts
- Carry and hit a quota, and forecast honestly so we can plan around it
Skills
- A track record of hitting quota in a complex B2B sale with senior buyers and a longer sales cycle
- Someone who generates their own pipeline and does not wait to be handed one
- Strong written communication, because so much of this sale happens over email and in follow-up, and the writing has to be sharp
- Genuine CRM discipline, where you treat the system as the record of truth rather than an afterthought
- Real drive and energy, because this is the part of the job you cannot coach and it is the part that matters most
- Prior experience selling regulatory, labeling, or life sciences software
- Firsthand time working inside a regulatory affairs or labeling function
- Familiarity with the pharma and biotech commercial landscape
