They are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support and optimize enterprise network and wireless environments, focusing on troubleshooting and improving network performance.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support Cisco-based network infrastructure (or equivalent)
- Troubleshoot switches, wireless access points, downstream devices, and network performance issues
- Perform wireless site surveys, RF analysis, and Wi-Fi optimization using tools such as Ekahau Sidekick or similar
- Assess coverage, channel utilization, and band distribution to improve user experience
- Participate in on-call support and after-hours incident response
- Partner with engineering teams to identify and reduce technical debt
Skills
- 3+ years of network engineering or network operations experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in production environments
- Experience with Cisco networking, switching, and wireless technologies
- Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi assessments, RF analysis, or wireless optimization
- Ability to work independently and drive issues through resolution
- CCNA preferred
- Has experience with on-call support and after-hours troubleshooting
- Thrives in a hands-on, operational environment-not a typical 9-5 role
- Demonstrates tenure stability (ideally 2+ years per role)
