Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. nTech Workforce is a leading firm in the healthcare insurance industry, and they are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support their HR operations. In this junior-level role, you will act as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries and assist with various HR processes and reporting metrics during a six-month contract assignment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first line of defense for supervisors and managers regarding corporate policy questions, logic application, and HR processes
- Conduct intake for foundational employee relations matters, including gathering the details of performance or attendance issues, reviewing documentation, and partnering with HR Business Partners on corrective actions
- Review and advance HR system workflows within PeopleSoft, including processing job openings, organizational reporting structure changes, and spot bonus award approvals
- Partner briefly with Talent Acquisition representatives and HR Business Partners to assist with tracking open requisitions and documenting agreed-upon candidate skill profiles
- Run light reporting metrics for business leaders, such as tracking upcoming employee service anniversaries
Skills
- 1 to 3 years of dedicated human resources experience, preferably within a junior generalist or HR coordinator capacity
- Prior experience working within a service-oriented HR department, such as healthcare, corporate insurance, or financial services
- Familiarity with enterprise human resources information systems (HRIS) such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or Oracle
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and communication platforms like Microsoft Teams
- Proven capability to remain calm under pressure, utilize strong critical thinking skills, and manage sensitive information confidently
- Direct experience utilizing PeopleSoft for organizational workflow approvals and tracking
