Momentum Marketing is seeking a highly organized and proactive Field Marketing Account Manager to oversee in-store product sampling and retail activation programs nationwide. This role involves managing client relationships, coordinating field teams, ensuring flawless program execution, and driving measurable results for brand partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage ongoing client communication, updates, and reporting
- Translate client goals into actionable sampling programs
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance and coverage
- Meeting and exceeding monthly sales goals
- Build and manage monthly sampling calendars
- Coordinate store lists and approved locations
- Maintain accurate schedules and timelines
- Ensure all bookings align with client and retailer requirements
- Manage long-term planning and lead-time requirements
- Recruit, onboard, and train brand ambassadors/demo reps
- Assign reps to locations based on availability and performance
- Confirm attendance and readiness before each activation
- Manage call-outs, replacements, and last-minute changes
- Maintain a high-performing, reliable rep network
- Oversee rep availability collection and scheduling systems
- Reduce manual back-and-forth through organized processes
- Track open shifts and fill gaps quickly
- Monitor event execution and check-in and check-outs
- Review recaps, photos, and reporting from reps
- Address performance issues promptly
- Implement corrective action plans when needed
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
- Track KPIs including coverage, attendance, and conversion
- Maintain organized digital records and documentation
- Support invoicing and billing accuracy
- Assist leadership with forecasting and planning
Skills
- 3+ years in account management, field marketing, or operations
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple clients and timelines
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Experience managing field teams or brand ambassadors
- Retail, CPG, or shopper marketing background
- Experience with Google Sheets and Microsoft office
- Prior work with national retailers
- Familiarity with sampling and experiential marketing programs
