Language Bear is a content writing and translation company headquartered in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, seeking experienced Latvian Translators, Writers, or Editors with iGaming experience for remote work. The role primarily involves editing and ensuring the quality of content related to the Automotive and Gambling industries, with responsibilities including translation, writing, and maintaining clarity and style in the text.
Responsibilities
- Your task may include translating (EN>LV), writing from scratch or editing content in Latvian related to the Automotive (general car parts or consumer goods) or Gambling (Casino & Betting) Industry
- The role of the editor is to check the task briefing (when we refer to writing tasks) and focus on making the text readable by assessing clarity, style, and citations as well as eliminating errors and mistakes in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting
- When it comes to translation tasks, we expect the editor to compare the translated text with the source file and double-check the quality of the translated content
- You will be in touch with a project manager who will provide guidelines and support through the process
Skills
- Mother tongue: Latvian
- Experience in editing, writing or translating content for the Latvian market on the specific topics with provided samples in advance
- Flawless writing skills with zero tolerance for mistakes or sloppy quality
- Ability to commit and strictly follow deadlines as they are crucial for all projects
- Ability to understand in detail the client's requirements e.g. structure of the text, style & keywords and follow these on every step throughout the project
