Job Description: • Ensure all environments are managed and maintained to meet service level agreements. • Proactive monitoring and maintenance of Linux and/or Windows system environments. • Provide responsive technical assistance and document configuration to support processes. • Work with additional functional teams to ensure optimal operations and uptime of application environments. • Support change control and testing processes for modifications to application systems. • Develop strong working relationships with third party vendors. • Analyze system for overall performance and give recommendations for improvements. • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. • Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale. • Quick, Efficient, and effective issue resolution with proactive communication to all stakeholders. • Recommend, schedule, and perform improvements, patches, and reconfigurations. • Develop, document, and maintain policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use. • Provide backup administration support to other teammates. • Provide after-hours support. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements: • Associate’s degree in the field of Computer Science or equivalent work experience required. • Hands-on enterprise application and hardware troubleshooting experience. • Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information. • Working technical knowledge of network, PC and platform operating systems including Windows, Unix, and RedHat Linux. • Working knowledge of Linux Shell Scripting, Windows PowerShell Scripting, Oracle, and Microsoft database concepts. • Working knowledge of Release Automation processes. • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws; including SSAE16, HIPPA, and URAC. • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives. • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.
