Intersystems DBA Engineer (Remote Opportunity)
VetsEZ is seeking a full-time remote InterSystems DBA Engineer to deliver integrated health solutions and focus on deploying high-volume interfaces and interoperability software using Cache Object Script and HealthShare. Administration and configuration of InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS platform. The candidate must reside within the continental US. Responsibilities:• Interview Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract content details and review written sections with SMEs for accuracy and with Proposal Managers• Integrate systems and applications using HL7v2, HL7v3, CDA, X12, FHIR, and other standards• Administer and configure Healthshare/IRIS platform• Develop customer-specific solutions based on the federal contract requirements• Implement patient privacy/confidentiality filters; Implement terminology maps between code sets from SNOMED, ICD, LOINC, and othersRequirements:• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related field• 3+ years of experience• Hands-on experience working with healthcare standards of HealthIT Interoperability and Interfaces, such as HL7, IHE, X12• Expert with IRIS, Unix, Apache, Ansible, Monitoring• Experience working with various data formats, such as CCD/CDA, XML, and JSON• Experience working with InterSystems Healthshare, IRIS, Ensemble, Cache, and ObjectScript• Experience with Web Services such as REST or SOAP• Experience with Automation and Scripting• Experience with SDLC tools and methodologies (including Agile) and modern source control systems such as Atlassian and GIT• Flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to quickly learn new development toolsets, methodologies, and processesAdditionalQualifications:• Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance• Team-oriented contributor with excellent interpersonal skills• Must have reliable internet service for remote work• Background in the Department of Veterans Affairs and healthcare preferredBenefits:• Medical/Dental/Vision• 401k with Employer Match• Corporate Laptop• PTO + Federal Holidays• Training opportunities• Remote work optionsQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status.Sorry, we are unable to offer sponsorship currently.
