Job title: HR Generalist/Office ManagerCompany: AEGIS HEDGING SOLUTIONS, LLCJob description: AEGIS Hedging Solutions is currently seeking to hire a highly motivated HR Generalist/Office Manager to oversee activities across several core business functions, including human resources, facilities, and administrative support. This role works closely with a variety of leaders across the organization. This role is responsible for performing HR-related duties in the following functional areas: benefits, administrations, employee relations, performance management, employee onboarding, policy implementation, and recruiting.The office manager component is responsible for overall office activities, facility management, and kitchen/supplies management. A successful member of the team should thrive in a high-growth environment and is passionate about creating an inviting environment that provides superior service to employees, clients, vendors, and candidates. The position will report directly to the CFO. HR Generalist Job Requirements:Collaborate with hiring managers to assist with recruitment, job descriptions, interviews, offer letters, access to hiring platform, and management of candidatesManage and improve the employee onboarding process.Assist with new hire training and manage their first 90 days, including periodic check-ins and obtaining feedback. Assist in the management of current company policies. Work closely with the PEO to assess current benefits offered to employees, suggest improvements, and go to market annually. Implement and manage employee performance reviews annually as well as work with management to ensure best employee review practices are being followed. Coordinate and support employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle.Office Manager Job Requirements:• Serve as first point of contact in greeting vendors, customers, job applicants, etc. Ensures the workplace is fully stocked, clean and operating efficiently. Responsible for managing vendors and ordering office supplies, food/drink and furniture as needed. Plans special events that bring employees together: happy hours, virtual games, special trainings, etc. Assist the CFO in developing a plan annually and budget. Manage the administration of the office such as the company’s shipping needs, conference rooms, direct call to appropriate employees, etc.Assist accounting in onboarding clients, managing client requests, and invoice entry. Critical Skills/Qualifications * 3-7 years of professional experience;• 1-3 years of experience as an HR professional preferred;• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred;• Thorough knowledge of HR policies and procedures;• Proficient in Microsoft Office;• Excellent administration and communication skills; and• Ability to challenge traditional thinking.
