Healthcare Regulatory Attorney (Remote Contract Engagement)

Latitude is seeking an attorney with healthcare regulatory experience for a part-time, remote contract engagement with a healthcare software startup company. Applicants must have at least 3+ years of healthcare regulatory experience, specifically with healthcare regulatory frameworks such as Medicaid and Medicare. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the rules and processes governing claims, billing, and payment structures between healthcare providers and payors, including private insurers and government programs.Requirements of the Healthcare Regulatory Attorney (Remote Contract Engagement):• 3+ years of healthcare regulatory experience• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks such as Medicaid and Medicare is required• Familiarity with processes governing claims, billing, and payment structures between healthcare providers and payors is preferred• Prior experience working in a full-service law firm, sophisticated boutique firm or in-house with a healthcare company is preferred• Outstanding referencesPosition Details for the Healthcare Regulatory Attorney (Remote Contract Engagement):• Type of role: Contract Engagement• Schedule: Part-Time• Duration: 3-12 months• Location: RemoteCompensation:Pay:The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis.Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position). Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week.Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE andProfessional Expense stipend.
