Freight Pricing Analyst / LTL Rate Specialist

About UsDedicated Freight Inc is a Southern California–based trucking and logistics company with its own fleetand partner carrier network. We are building a next-generation freight quoting and dispatch system thatconnects shippers, brokers, and carriers efficiently. We are looking for an experienced Freight PricingAnalyst who understands LTL and FTL carrier pricing logic and can help us design our internalautomated rate engine. Responsibilities- Build and maintain LTL/TL rate tables and pricing logic.- Translate pricing rules (Class, weight, zones, FSC, accessorials, stackable, minimum charge) intoformulas for system integration.- Research and compare major carrier tariffs (Saia, ABF, Estes, XPO, R+ L, FedEx Freight, etc.).- Work with our developers to implement a Python-based quoting API.- Provide competitive pricing insights and profit strategy suggestions.- Support integration of partner carrier rates and regional lane data.Qualifications- 3+ years experience in LTL/TL freight pricing, brokerage, or carrier relations.- Knowledge of Freight Class, CWT, Fuel Surcharge, Minimum Charge, and accessorial fees.- Familiar with quoting platforms such as MyCarrier, Freightquote, Rateware, CzarLite, or TMS.- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.- Detail-oriented and comfortable working remotely.- Bilingual (English + Chinese/Spanish) preferred but not required.
