Key Responsibilities• Design and develop seasonal fashion collections, including apparel, accessories, and footwear.• Research and analyze fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and patterns to inspire new designs. • Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and digital renderings using design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D). • Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and aligned with brand standards. • Revise and refine designs based on feedback from the creative director or clients. • Maintain an organized design portfolio showcasing original concepts and completed projects.• Stay updated with global fashion trends and competitor collections to ensure innovation and relevance. Required Skills and Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, originality, and technical design skills. • Proficiency in fashion design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, or similar). • Excellent knowledge of fabrics, textures, and garment construction techniques. • Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer behavior, and the global fashion market.• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate designs quickly. Experience• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in freelance or remote projects. • Experience in designing for diverse markets and producing designs for online retail or e-commerce platforms is a plus.
