Position Summary:The Financial Analyst serves as strategic and financial partner to the Executive team and is responsible for all financial activity. This includes, but not limited to, strategic planning, budgeting & forecasting, KPI & working capital analysis, capital formation, investor reporting and investor relations, and financial modeling.Reporting Relationship: President/ COODuties andResponsibilities:• Financial strategist/modeler to assist CEO and President in evaluating prospective development projects. • Develop financial models and presentations to describe and analyze investment and debt opportunities. • Serve as financial support to Executive team (including business case preparation, operational analysis). • Proactively recommend strategies that help Cumby Group achieve financial goals. • Engage with operational leaders to drive business results and achieve annual plans and other financial targets.• Challenge the status quo with ideas to drive internal efficiencies and growth in revenue based upon solid data analysis. • Responsible for preparation of periodic and project-based management presentations. Evaluate the topics and focus of the presentations, proposing additional or different metrics/analyses to communicate the current financial/operational results to management and stakeholders. • Prepare financial models and investment materials for investor community. • Develop investor confidence and belief in the company's vision and strategy for delivering shareholder value.• Develop various financial models as needed to support Cumby Group's project and product types - including multi-family condo development and apartment development and operations. • Evaluate and monitor local and national competitors as well as market conditions and position. • Adhoc analysis to support miscellaneous projects as they arise. • Complete other responsibilities as assigned. The Financial Analyst should demonstrate competence in some or all of the following: * General bolthires Office Products• Financial Management• Strategic Thinking• Business Acumen• Ethical Conduct• Technical Capacity• Sage 300 CRE• Performance Management• Logical decision-making abilities• Unbridled Support and Teamwork• Demonstrated ability to initiate, expedite, follow through to project completion.Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in a business, financial or related field or equivalent work experience. • 5+ years' experience in mid to senior level finance accounting position. • A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends. • Experience with creating financial statements. • Strong leadership skills with even temperament & ability to solve problems. • You value Execution, Unleashing Talent, Collaboration, Flexibility, Good Judgement, and Reliability.• Experience with or high interest in real estate, property development and construction a strong plus.
