Job Overview blithequark is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join its growing team. As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you will be responsible for entering information into various proprietary computer systems and partner portals with a zero percent error rate. This is a part-time position (20+ hours per week) with the potential to increase to full-time (30+ hours per week), offering a flexible work environment where you can decide when and where you work. Key Responsibilities Enter data from various sources into blithequark's database and/or client portals within project time limits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Ensure appropriate turnaround time on all data entry tasks to meet project deadlines. Transcribe information into the required electronic format, maintaining data integrity and security. Review and enter data in the appropriate format, proactively verifying data for accuracy and correcting errors as necessary. Comply with security backups and regular information security checkups to ensure the safety of the database. Adhere to data integrity and security policies, maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with care. Communicate effectively with project managers as needed, ensuring seamless project execution and addressing any concerns or issues promptly. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, demonstrating a foundational level of education and knowledge. Minimum of 2 to 3 years of data entry experience with a keystroke rate of 15,000 keystrokes per hour (equivalent to 50 words per minute) error-free, showcasing proficiency in data entry tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and using Windows (preferred) or a Mac computer, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technology. Ability to pass a criminal background check, ensuring a safe and secure work environment. Must be 18 years or older, meeting the legal age requirement for employment. Ability to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, demonstrating commitment and dedication to the role. Must have a reliable high-speed broadband internet connection, enabling efficient and uninterrupted work. Must show proof of authorization to work in the United States, complying with employment eligibility requirements. Preferred Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and interaction with team members and clients.
