Events Internships
Program overview:Join the Summer Internship Program on the Events team and gain hands-on experience supporting the 2026 User Conference, the world’s largest gathering of geospatial professionals with over 20,000 attendees. Work alongside experienced corporate events professionals and contribute to high-impact projects. The projects interns work on vary including:• Coordinating large-scale food and beverage programs. • Assisting with event content and agenda management. • Supporting sponsorship and exhibit programs.• Conference logistic management. Education and other requirements:• We look for students majoring in marketing, business or communications and are currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program at a university in the United States; undergrads must be in junior or senior standing. • Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Able to complete a 12-week internship beginning in May or June 2026. • Strong writing and communication and research skills.• Experience with social media platforms is a plus. Compensation:The compensation for this role is $28-33 / hr.
