Endpoint Engineer – Mac
Job Description:• Design and implement robust application packaging and deployment strategies for MacOS and Windows environments. • Manage and optimize patch management processes for both operating systems to ensure system integrity and security. • Develop and maintain MDM automation scripts and workflows to enhance device management and operational efficiency. • Lead deployments using MDM Autopilot and streamline processes through Windows Intune and VMWare MDM platforms. • Write and maintain scripts in bash, shell, and PowerShell to automate routine tasks and resolve issues.• Ensure systems are compliant with organizational IT standards and security policies through continuous monitoring and updates. • Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for complex issues in MacOS and Windows environments. • Collaborate with IT teams to improve system configurations, software distribution, and endpoint security measures. • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and non-technical personnel to align IT strategies with business objectives. Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role, focusing on MacOS and Windows platforms. • Demonstrated expertise in managing and deploying MDM solutions, particularly MDM Autopilot, Windows Intune, and VMWare MDM. • Strong scripting skills in bash, shell, and PowerShell. • Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and other enterprise management tools. • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues in MacOS and Windows environments. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Desirable Certifications: SCCM Certification Microsoft Endpoint Manager Certification.
