We are seeking a Demand Planner who will be responsible for coordination of all forecasting and demand planning activities to align with organizational revenue goals. The Demand Planner will create and maintain demand plans incorporating business intelligence, sales forecasts, marketing data and product strategy. The role is also responsible for reporting on performance to plan and to highlight gaps to S&OP leadership. The Demand Planner will be responsible for:Development of demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation.Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, solidify methodology and evaluate forecast results. Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and supply chain assumptions. Collaborative with Sales, Product Management and Supply Chain to obtain current and accurate information to be used for demand forecasts. Own and update the Demand Planning the system planning tool.Provide insights to the Supply Planning organization to aid in the development of inventory strategies. Manage and trouble shoot supply and inventory plan variances, including unexpected demand, to ensure appropriate communication and actions with sales and supply chain personnel. Coordinate and support demand and inventory planning meetings with sales, supply chain and logistics team to update demand plans. Review product portfolio to work with sales to align around products/items/SKUs introductions to or phase out.Coordinate with the inventory obsolescence manager and supply chain to drive disposition of excess/obsolete inventory. Partner with regional teams to align demand plans against sales and conduct gap analysis. Achieve KPI goal deliverables:• Improve demand planning accuracy. • Inventory health optimization through effective demand planning coordination of stock-outs, excess and aged inventory. Support the team through the design of decision support systems and exploratory data analysis relating to demand planning.Develop and deliver dashboards and reports that provide insights to leadership for decision-making. Mentor more junior team members. Requirements:• 3 years or more of experience in demand planning, ideally within a B2B company. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, or related field. • Experience working in Excel, NetSuite, Kinaxis and/or similar programs. • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI)• Experience with Power BI, Power Query and Python is a strong plus.• Strong critical thinking, deductive reasoning, problem solving, and analytical skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. • Ability to present to executive stakeholders through data storytelling and visualization. • Proactive learner with self-starter mentality and exceptional interpersonal, oral, presentation and written communication skills. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. #PTS Apply tot his job
