The Lab employs innovative technology to tackle real-world challenges in economics and public policy.Role DescriptionThis is a remote role for a Chief Research Scientist. The Chief Research Scientist will lead research initiatives focused on developing, implementing, and analyzing multi-agent simulations. Responsibilities will include designing and refining simulation models, conducting data-driven research, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The role also involves reporting on insights to inform economic and policy-related decision-making. Effective communication of research findings to stakeholders will be a key aspect of this role.Qualifications• Proficiency in simulation modeling, computational modeling, and data analysis• Strong expertise in research methods, data collection, and statistical analysis• Background in economic and policy research or related fields• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar tools• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences• Experience working collaboratively in research or interdisciplinary teams• Bachelors, Master’s, or PhD in Economics, Public Policy, Computer Science, or a related field preferred Apply tot his job
