With the most live connections through EHR-partnered integrations across Epic, Cerner, and athenahealth, PaceMate offers a true, vetted, and validated industry-leading solution for interoperability.Position at a Glance• Job Title: Cardiac Device Specialist - Full Time Evenings• Location:Remote (Contiguous United States)• Shift: Swing, evening coverage required• Compensation: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package• Start Date: Immediate openings availableJob SummaryAs a PaceMate Cardiac Device Specialist, you will remotely monitor patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) utilizing our proprietary software. You will utilize your knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology and biomedical engineering concepts to assess the technical function of the patient's CIED, analyze and interpret device and patient diagnostics, and perform accurate clinical documentation as determined by PaceMate's best practice standards.Key Responsibilities• Integrate a knowledge base from physiology, pathophysiology, and cardiac device function to perform competent evaluations, diagnostic review, and overall analysis through remote monitoring• Recognize abnormal functions of pacemakers, defibrillators, ILRs, and CRT devices and recommend strategies to address and correct issues• Communicate with PaceMate's clinical team and providers regarding CIED function and diagnostic data through accurate, professional, and standardized documentation• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and follow all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Protected Health Information (PHI) standards/protocol• Support and contribute to PaceMate's patient-centered care philosophy: Every teammate is a caregiver whose role is to meet the needs of the patientEducation, Experience, and Core Competency Requirements• Education: Bachelor's or associate degree required• Experience: Experience in related field - nursing, medicine, electronics, or engineering• Cardiac Device Rhythm Management Course: Successful completion of a cardiac device rhythm management course or equivalent experience• Cardiac Device ManagementExperience: Minimum two years of recent cardiac device management experience• Device DiagnosticsExperience: Experience with interrogating and interpreting device diagnostics for all 4 major manufacturers (Medtronic, Abbott/St.Jude, Boston Scientific, Biotronik)• Certifications: Additional preferred certifications - Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Certifications (CCDS, CEPS, CDRMS)• Software Proficiency: Proficiency with collaboration applications and software (bolthires Office Suite, Teams, Slack)What We OfferPaceMate offers a comprehensive benefits package to include:• Health and Prescription coverage• Dental• Vision• Long-Term Disability• Short-Term Disability• AD&D• Flexible Spending Account• Healthcare Savings Account• 401k Retirement Savings• Discount Program• Employee Assistance Program• Financial Wellness Program• Paid Time Off• Legal Insurance• Hospital Indemnity• Critical Illness• Accident CoverageWhy Join PaceMate?By joining the PaceMate team, you will become a vital part of a group that is dedicated to using technology to benefit patients, caregivers, and hospital administrators while driving healthy turnkey solutions that identify lost revenues and inefficiencies.
