Each year, Skedda wins awards from G2, Capterra, GetApp, and SoftwareAdvice.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a tech-savvy, motivated, relationship-oriented Business Development Representative to. The Business Development Representative will identify and qualify new business opportunities, develop relationships with potential customers, and drive sales growth. Our approach is based around displaying the value of our product in a professional, relaxed and helpful manner, and allowing the product to sell itself. In this role you will:• Speak with a diverse set of prospective clients across many industries in our European market• Generate qualified opportunities for our New Business team from both inbound and outbound leads• Complete 75+ prospecting activities per day including calls, emails, and social touchpoints• Gain expertise in the space management industry and serve as a subject matter expert for prospects• Provide valuable field feedback to Sales Leadership from your effortsQualifications for this role:• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume Business Development position• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to build relationships with potential customers• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Experience managing both inbound and outbound leads• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles• Prior experience working for a tech startup or a similar environment is highly preferred, particularly with SMB and Annual Contract Values (ACVs) below $10k per month• SaaS workflow experience and strong technical skills with an entrepreneurial mindset• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field• Knowledge of the space management industry is a plusBenefits• Competitive salary, benefits package, and paid time off• Flexible schedule• Creative and collaborative work environment• Direct exposure to the leadership team across departments• Be empowered to leave a significant mark on the product and the customersAbout UsWe’re an international team from 20+ countries with a growing presence in Boston.We place a lot of value on collaborating asynchronously across time zones but also understand the benefits of working together in person.
