AboutOur ClientOur client is a small - medium well established industrial manufacturing company in the cooling / pumps and gears space. They are experiencing high growth right now with the rise of Data Center builds - and are actively looking for a Business Development Manager to join the team. Job Description• Develop and execute strategies to expand cooling, pumping and gears business within the power / data center sector.• Identify and secure new sales opportunities to achieve revenue growth targets. • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery. • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities. • Prepare and present proposals, reports, and presentations to clients and management. • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales goals. • Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on business development initiatives.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful ApplicantA successful Business Development Manager - Data Center should have:• Proven expertise in business development within the Power / Data Center Industry.• Experience selling cooling, pumping and gears solutions is a large plus. • Experience selling into construction builds, EPC firms and working through a channel a huge plus. • Strong understanding of the data center sector and its unique equipment requirements. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients and stakeholders. • Ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable strategies. • A proactive and goal-oriented mindset to drive results in a competitive environment.What's on Offer• Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $175,000 USD + commission. • REMOTE role - can sit anywhere in the US.
