Job Description:Provide consecutive interpretation services between English and bolthires Language across various industries (medical, legal, customer service, etc.)Ensure complete accuracy, clarity, and neutrality in interpretation—preserving tone, intent, and emotionMaintain confidentiality and impartiality at all timesManage call flow professionally, including respectfully intervening when clarification is neededDemonstrate emotional intelligence, especially in high-pressure or emotionally charged interactionsApply short term memory retention, active listening, and note taking techniques to manage longer exchangesRemain strictly within the interpreter’s role without offering personal opinions or adviceParticipate in ongoing training, coaching, and feedback sessions to maintain and enhance performanceUtilize basic computer tools (MS Office, internal platforms) to effectively manage calls and log activityFollow scheduled shifts, remain at workstation and handle continuous back-to-back calls throughout scheduled shift; breaks and lunches assigned by Workforce Management teamRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent (required); college education preferredFluency in English and bolthires Language, with B2+ proficiency or higherAbility to pass a language and interpreting skills assessmentMinimum of 6 months of call center, customer service, or interpreting experienceStrong verbal communication, bilingual accuracy, and ethical decision makingProven ability to think clearly and act professionally in fast moving, emotionally complex situationsStrong sense of professional responsibility, integrity, and time managementComfortable with assertive communication and session controlBasic computer skills, including typing and MS Office navigationQuiet, distraction-free workspace conducive to active listening and sustained concentrationStable home internet connection (cable, DSL, or fiber; cellular data and hotspots not permitted)Identity Qualification: Provide valid, government-issued photo identification during recruiting and training processPreferredQualifications: Certification in medical, legal, or community interpreting (strong plus)Experience with remote work tools and communication platformsBenefits:Four weeks of paid training (on-site or remote) covering interpretation techniques, note-taking, memory retention, call management, and emotional controlHands-on role-play simulations and coaching led by certified interpretersOngoing development opportunities, including advanced training for complex call typesCareer advancement opportunities across interpreting, QA, training, and leadership rolesComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, company-sponsored life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, and flexible spending account optionsPrivate health insurance and access to a collaborative, supportive team environmentA proactive and accessible HR department that focuses on the staff’s health and happiness Apply tot his job
