Our client, a private equity company based in New York City, is seeking an attorney to assist with M&A matters.This is a long-term interim opportunity. In this role, you will be advising on complex cross-border M&A and private equity transactions; reviewing and redlining NDAs, engagement letters, and other routine agreements; preparing ancillary documents such as board consents, officer certificates, and disclosure schedules; advising PE sponsors and investors on domestic and cross-border acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. Position Details• Start: First week of January 2026 (would like resumes ASAP for interviews and onboarding over holidays)• Duration: At least 6 months, likely going much longer• Location:Remote but prefer candidates in New York City• Hourly Rate: $110-115Requirements• 5+ years' corporate transaction experience, particularly with M&A or private equity• Familiarity with all stages of a transaction, including structuring, due diligence, drafting documents, and closing• Active bar admission in any US jurisdictionWhat sets us apart?People join us for a range of reasons - the life of an LOD lawyer is like no other. • No assignment or day is ever the same.
