Associate Manager Project Finance & Capital Raising: equity-focus Thailand or Singapore
OverviewLocation:Thailand or SingaporeThe (associate) manager will support the Director of Strategic Finance in managing investor-facing activities, including capital raising, due diligence, and financial modeling. The role is essential to ensuring the smooth execution of both equity and debt-related transactions. This is a high-impact role within a fast-growing company operating in a startup environment, requiring flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to take ownership across a wide range of tasks.Two positions are available and responsibilities will be split based on focus:• One will primarily support equity investor processes: this job description focuses on the equity-side. • One will primarily support debt financing and bankingCandidates should indicate their area of interest or strength when applying. Key Responsibilities• Coordinate data collection and document preparation for due diligence exercises. • Manage information flow and deadlines across internal teams and external consultants (e.g., technical, legal, and financial advisors).• Support the Director of Strategic Finance in preparing investor presentations, and internal decision papers. • Support with investors’ relation management, such as providing regular progress reports, financials and any other ad-hoc reports required from investors. • Work closely with accounting/treasury team to manage and track funds movement and financing costs. • Support in maintaining and updating financial models to support capital raising, investor updates, and internal strategy. • Adapt to shifting priorities, activities, and timelines typical of a fast-paced startup setting.• Support the Director Strategic Finance in all relevant tasks where requested. Equity-specific focus• Prepare materials for potential equity investors. • Support external equity due diligence processes (financial, legal, ESG, technical). Requirements / Skills / Experience• 4–6 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, infrastructure finance, project finance, or related roles. • Solid financial modeling and analytical capabilities. • Experience supporting transaction execution, including due diligence and documentation.• Familiarity with working alongside legal, technical, and financial consultants. • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environment. • Strong communication skills and comfort working with both internal and external stakeholders. • Flexibility and adaptability are essential.
