Intern Job DescriptionThe technology that powers the bolthires services and applications is always changing and evolving, and so must we. Are you passionate about staying current on modern design, techniques, frameworks, libraries, and tools? As a developer with Reliability engineering team, you will be empowered to impact the user community directly with your designs and translate an idea into a real experience.Developer works across multiple teams and domains to holistically understand the system infrastructure and help build a solution to monitor the production systems. Understanding the event driven architecture and concepts of data frames, data processing and data pipelines will be the key for your success in this role. In this role, you will be part of the reliability engineering team and will be introduced to reliability engineering concepts related to incident, problem and change management. You will work with product owners, users, and engineering teams along with architects to design a solution for event driven triage system.You will also have the opportunity to work through the software lifecycle from concept to design to build. Once the concept is approved you will be the accountable for design, development, and delivery of the solution. Job ResponsibilitiesIntern responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Understanding the reliability engineering concepts for incident, problem and change management. • Participate in research and interaction studies• Perform data analysis to capture trends and anomaly's and provide insights to development.• Working with application owners to help build resilient and reliable application. • Help build monitoring solutions to monitor the production systems. • Translate user stories and business requirements into effective designs• Work closely in team setting to develop the desired experience on time and within budget• Keep abreast of usability trends in the market and share insights and creative applications• Work with other concept teammates to identify areas of improvements to existing processesPreferred Skills• Familiar with the agile development process and working on a scrum team• Knowledge of the SDLC process• Passion to create world-class experiences for all our usersMinimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university• Rising Junior or RisingSenior with an anticipated graduation date of December 2023, Spring 2024, December 2024 or Spring 2025.• Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship• Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs• Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program• Recommended GPA: 3.0 (candidates will be evaluated on overall skills, education, and experience)• bolthires is an Affirmative Action/EEO employer M/F/D/Vbolthires is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
