Title: Workforce Data Quality & Reporting AnalystDuration: 6+ monthsLocation:Remote (PST candidates preferred; must work PST hours)Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours/week (3 days/week, 8 hours/day; days are flexible)Pay rate: $80-$95/hr on W2Position overviewThe Workforce Data Quality & Reporting Analyst will support Oracle HCM retrofit efforts, workforce data needs assessments, and data governance activities for a higher-education–style environment.The role centers on capturing business requirements, validating and testing data, and ensuring the accuracy of workforce reporting and metric calculations. The analyst will work closely with business partners to define key workforce metrics and translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications. This includes supporting both recurring and ad-hoc reporting for stakeholders who rely on accurate workforce data to make decisions. Key responsibilities• Query relational databases using SQL to extract, transform, and validate workforce data for reporting and analysis.• Analyze workforce data to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues across HR and institutional datasets. • Investigate and resolve data quality issues, including root-cause analysis and coordination with business/IT stakeholders. • Document reporting logic, data definitions, and source-to-target mapping used for metrics and dashboards. • Support Oracle HCM retrofit activities by validating data feeds, reconciling records, and confirming metric calculations. • Assist with data governance practices, including standardizing definitions and supporting stewardship workflows.• Support ad-hoc reporting requests and new report development as needs evolve.
