Veterinary Technician Pet CPR and First Aid Instructor
Pet Emergency Education is looking for credentialed veterinary technicians to teach our nationally recognized and accredited BLS and ALS canine and feline CPR and first aid certification classes in their community. If you are a confident professional who loves to teach and wants to earn extra income on a flexible schedule, then we might be the perfect fit! We are expanding our company to offer our accredited Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid Certification Classes throughout the entire country. If you feel comfortable teaching people and are interested in joining our instructors team we welcome you to apply.Candidate MUST have the following:• At least 3 years full time work experience as a veterinary technician. CVT, LVT and RVT preferred but not required. • Have teaching or training experience and be comfortable speaking in front of groups of people. Classes are 3 hours long and offered on average of one to two times a month. This is a very part time position and pays $20 per person in the classes that are taught. Classes average 8-15 people with a minimum of 6 people. Instructors are also eligible to participate in our online referral program for additional compensation.Instructors are not employees and are independent contractors who are compensated a per person fee.
