Vermont Law and Graduate School (VLGS), a national leader in environmental law and restorative justice, invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Legal Writing.The successful candidate will have a JD, legal work experience, demonstrated research and writing ability, and, preferably, experience with residential or online teaching. Entry-level, junior, and senior lateral candidates will be considered. The position may start as early as Spring 2023; the precise start date is flexible. The VLGS Legal Writing Program is committed to making every student a better writer by delivering a rigorous, three-semester program focused on practice-readiness through real-world assignments.Faculty also provide service to VLGS and engage with other professionals and the public to contribute to the intellectual exchange of ideas with an eye towards social justice.
