PrimaryResponsibilities:• Manage administrative intake of members• Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers• Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles• Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review• Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providersThis is high volume, customer service environment.You’ll need to be efficient, productive and thorough dealing with our members over the phone. You also must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evening hours. Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experienceRequiredQualifications:• 2+ years health care experience in a hospital, physician’s office or medical clinic setting• 2+ years of customer service experience• Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook• Live in the Pacific or Mountain Time ZonePreferredQualifications:• Experience working in a call center• A clerical or administrative support background• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codesCalifornia, Colorado, Nevada, or Washington Residents Only:The hourly range for California, Colorado, Nevada, or Washington residents is $16.00 to $23.44 per hour.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
