Translation Project Manager (US remote)

The core elements of the job are:People• Work as a part of our global Operations Team• Collaborate cross team by participating in company strategic initiatives• Support and train interns and junior colleagues• Liaise with Linguist Community Management, Finance, File Engineering and Account Management to ensure excellent quality of service. Operations• Take full responsibility for project life cycle ensuring timely delivery and quality of service to our clients, and adhering to revenue and margin targets.• Oversee proofreading, editing, coding and translation as well as text analyses and other text processing. • Source the most appropriately skilled linguists or facilities providers. • Plan, monitor and coordinate the linguists’ workflows and evaluate their performance• Use translation management software to leverage internal and translation memory (TM) segment repetitions. • Manage and maintain translation assets (translation memories, glossaries). • Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest new ideas to increase efficiency.• Use recent developments in AI to enhance efficiency across projects. • Adhere to our ISO-accredited quality control procedures. • Work with company project management tools to maintain and update project, supplier and client data in accordance with our procedures. • Create guidelines, process documentation and marketing materials to promote our services and educate colleagues. Clients• Build strong relationships with clients and develop efficient solutions to their language requirements while providing helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly support.• Adhere to company complaint procedures and support clients with queries and feedback with Team Leader’s guidance. Company• Promote the growth of the company and the team. • Represent the company or the team at client meetings/industry events. RequirementsMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLEWe are looking for candidates with:• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one additional language. • 2+ years of experience in the supply of client-side translation within a project management/co-ordination role.• Competence in using translation management and productivity technology with the ability to learn new technologies and programs quickly. • Logical and creative thinking with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude. • Ability to handle pressure when delivering high volume/tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment. • Be a dedicated and enthusiastic team member and conscientious in promoting the growth of our Company. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Flexibility and a willingness to embrace change.This offer from "Lion People Global" has been enriched by Jobgether.com and got a 75% flex score.
