Technical Writer (SaaS, Security & DevOps)

ObjectiveWe are seeking a talented Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. As a foundational member of the Technical Writer Charter, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience by crafting comprehensive documentation that supports product functionalities, streamlines onboarding processes, optimizes day-to-day operations, and facilitates product discovery. Profile OverviewClient is looking for a seasoned Technical Writer with a strong background in communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences including developers, security analysts, and DevOps engineers.The ideal candidate is a proactive collaborator with experience working across cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, user-friendly documentation. Scope• Commitment:15 hours/week month 1 and then ramp to 30 hours/week• Duration: 6 month contract with possibly of extensionResponsibilities• Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation tailored to various audiences, including developers, security analysts, and DevOps engineers. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers, to gather technical information and insights for documentation creation.• Continuously improve existing documentation and create new materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with product updates and enhancements. • Work proactively to identify opportunities for enhancing product usability, functionality, and user satisfaction through effective documentation strategies. • Contribute to the growth and expansion of the Technical Writing team by sharing expertise, providing mentorship, and participating in recruitment activities. • Collaborate with other teams in Product, Engineering & Marketing to maximize the impact of our educational content and ensure it’s aligned with broader business goals.Skills and Qualifications• CyberSecurity or/and Media experience a HUGE PLUS! • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a SaaS or technology environment. • Strong understanding of developer tools, security workflows, or DevOps environments. • Excellent written communication skills with attention to clarity and structure. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple documentation projects. • Experience in content strategy, UX writing, or product documentation is a plus.About ClientClient is a forward-thinking technology company focused on delivering best-in-class products for technical users.
